You need this for your trunk! Don’t get stranded! I bought this to use when traveling and staying with relatives or friends. As with any charger 🔌 with a standard plug, it’s going to take several hours or even overnight to get a good recharge. However, it really beats trying to track down charging stations! This saved me from inconveniencing my relatives because I would’ve had to have someone follow me to a charging station and leave my car unattended for hours. (Not to mention the safety aspect leaving car unattended, even at a “quick charge” station in an unfamiliar town.) This will charge you up enough to get from a relative’s or friend’s house to a quick charge station without worry. You could even plug it in at a convenience store or even a police/fire station in an emergency. I’m sure they would understand and let you use some electricity.
It’s easy to use and goes back in the included case/bag. It’s smaller than a carry on! It’s a must have if you own an EV and don’t want to spend $1,000 on the manufacturer brand. (This works on all EV’s except Teslas, but I think there are adapters for that too on Amazon.) I also know it works for Volvo vehicles.

Meets the needs for a low usage car. Only about 100 miles a week the car is driven. You can keepthe battery charged in cold weather for a low price.

We are using the EVDANCE Level 1&2 EV Charger for charging our Nissan Leaf on 110V in our garage and it gives us almost exactly the same number of miles of charge per hour as the original charger--about 5 miles per hour. It has a 25 foot long cord which gives us plenty for keeping the cord out of the way/tidy and still reaching our car. We plugged it into an out of the way outlet and zip-tied it to the conduit and along the side of our workbench to reach the EV Charger hanger. The cord reaches our car with plenty of cord left (so if we got a 2nd car and put it on the left side of the garage, I think it would reach). It comes with a standard NEMA 5-15 plug (the US standard household plug). (There is also a NEMA 6-20 adapter, in case you have that type of outlet.) This charger works well, has a large light that signals the state of the charger and charging activity.The only quibble I have about this charger is it being called a level 2 charger since it is a 16A charger. I would say it is only a level 1 charger. Since that is the purpose we bought it for, I am completely satisfied with it for that. Just want newbies to know that if you are looking for level 2 charging, you are going to need a 40 amp circuit with a dryer type plug. This is not that. On the other hand, although we contemplated installing level 2 charging, we found that we could use a level 1 charger to keep up with the miles we drive. Level 1 charging is supposedly the least stressful for the battery and will make your battery last longer. It has a nice case if you want to take it with you for trips. We use the original Nissan plug for that because it has a level 2 adapter.

I purchased this product to alleviate peace of mind and address range anxiety during my trips with my Tesla. It's a great deal considering it's priced well over $200 from Tesla itself. The packaging was neat, and it came in a carrying case with two handles and zippers. The added cover for the charge port is a nice touch to keep dirt and debris out. The hose has Velcro straps for cable management, and it's easy to put back in the carrying case. The instructions are straightforward C plug one end into the outlet and the other into your car. The unit has lights indicating its status through various colors, but I don't anticipate any issues. It feels well-made and sturdy. I tested it immediately upon receiving it, and it's simple to use with a streamlined design.

I needed a charger for a 2017 Chevy Volt LT to replace the factory charger. My car was charging within 15 min of opening the box. No cell phone app needed to control or initialize the charger, as some other models required. Heavier duty, with heavier gauge cable, than the factory charger. Thus far I have used the charger only with 110 AC, not w/220, though I have no reason to expect problems. I don't see how my buying experience could be improved upon. My exact needs were met very quickly!
