EVDANCE Mini Tesla (NACS) auf J1772 Ladeadapter, max. 80 Ampere und 250 V

I recently needed a new J1772 adapter for my EV, and after seeing some overpriced options on the market, I was looking for a more affordable alternative. I came across the EVdance J1772 adapter and decided to give it a try due to its significantly lower price compared to other brands.

I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed. The EVdance adapter not only fits perfectly but also feels robust and well-made. Despite its lower price, it doesn’t compromise on quality. I've been using it for several weeks now, and it has performed flawlessly. The charging speed is just as fast as with more expensive adapters, and there’s no sign of any wear or issues, even with regular use.

I recently had the chance to test the EVdance adapter, and I’d like to share my genuine experience. Firstly, I was quite impressed with the build quality. The adapter feels sturdy and well-constructed, and I really like its compact design. It does feel robust and fits snugly into both the charge port and the Tesla charger, with a reassuring click.

The build quality is really good. I love the compact size. The listing states it uses solid conductors but I can't verify that.It feels hefty and snaps into the charge port and Tesla charger with a nice positive click. The blue release on the bottom is to release from the Tesla connector and the black release on top is for the release from the charge port.Now the bad news: It didn't work on my non-Tesla car. I've tried multiple attempts and the car just doesn't communicate with the charger. The car is a new Fisker Ocean and it just won't take it. It will take an old BMW charger no problem. So it's something with the adapter.EVDDANCE contacted me regarding the adapter and why it wasn't working with the Fisker Ocean. Because we couldn't figure out why this model didn't work they sent me a different model of connector to try. I used it with a Tesla mobile charger and a Tesla Wall Charger. It still didn't work with the mobile charger be the wall charger worked after a firmware update. It became apparent that the communication was limited by the software in the car and the charger. I can't blame the adapter as it is a passive part of the process. I stand by my original review of the high quality build of the adapter.
