Comes boxed inside its carry case which is great incase you want to keep it in the boot of your car. Its got a simple interface and very THICK sturdy cables all throughout the thing. Make sure you check which amperage you need for your car as they should have safety detection for too high but too low and you could leave it running all night and barely have a good charge. This is all done via ONE button and is fool proof.
Aswell as being thick and sturdy the cabling is also nice and long meaning it can go from anywhere in a garage but also safely to your car (just make sure its off road) from inside your house if need be.
With the big changes in some cities this is so invaluable as i ordered it for when my sister visits. She travels from another large city which is more upto date than mine. You dont realise how bad it can be until you need to find a charging point and realise its so far in a fast food car park that a family visit involves parking miles away and a bus ride....not anymore. Its so great for her to be able to park infront of the house and just charge and take all that stress away or knowing she's gotta sit bored in a car park after visiting just to make sure she can get home safely, so much so, shes ordering one herself so she can keep it in the boot for emergencies.
When you consider a home installation point can cost between 800-1000 during a time when cost of living is so high this thing is a genius bargain for your home and everyone should have one.
I don't have an electric car - I'm the poor relative 😂But the rest of my family do and most of my friends too. The amount of times they come to visit then over stay because they need to charge their cars - I'm forever running them to the nearest charging point then bringing them back to mine while they wait.. No more!!
I jumped at the chance to review this - I have an outside socket and measured the wire to make sure it would be long enough to reach their cars and it is - you get a massive 20ft of cable with this so it easily fits to any car parked outside.
So far, I've used it 3 times - the look of surprise on their faces when I said I could charge the car for them was brilliant and it meant they could leave me alone to be anti-social :).
It works superbly well, it really is a decent bit of kit - the quality of the machine and the wire cable is much better than I expected. The digital display is easy to read and the whole machine is really easy to use. You do need to know what amps to set it to for fast and slow charging and it stops flashing when it's fully charged. It's quite heavy but deal for leaving in your boot and comes with a well made carry bag.
It's so good, I have shared the link to this about 10 times as everyone who has used it wants one. A rare 5 stars from me.
I've been using the EV Charge Type 2 Ladekabel for weeks now, and it's top-notch! ⚡ The build quality is impeccable – from plug to cable, all components excel. While it's a bit weighty, the length and portability, aided by the handy pouch, compensate well. 🚗 Charging has been reliable in various weather conditions. 🌦️ Overall, the quality and value align perfectly. 👌 I'm satisfied, awarding it a solid five stars. ⭐
I have very recently become an electric vehicle driver and as I don't have a home charge point installed yet, this has proved to be a very good product for me. First things first, it comes in a strong storage case with handles for transporting around, so you can sling it in the back of the car and plug it in wherever you are able. The great thing is that the 20ft cable means that I can charge it from my garage or my parents' home etc., with no rush to instal an EV point yet. It's easy to use with clear instructions, even for a newbie like me.
