Previously, executives suggested the base model would price “under $4,000,” which many assumed meant $3,999. Instead, Also came in significantly lower. The base TM-B arrives after the Launch Edition and Performance models, which will hit the market in spring 2025 and mid-2026. This staggered rollout gives early adopters access to enhanced features while offering cost-conscious buyers a more attainable option later on.


Feature Differences Between Base and Premium Models

Though the TM-B’s $3,500 price point is still premium, the e-bike delivers a long list of features rarely seen in the segment. However, several distinctions separate it from the higher-end versions. The base model trades the striking translucent purple motor cover for a simpler gray housing, and colorful accents are removed entirely. It also swaps air suspension for a coil fork, reducing both cost and visual flair while still supporting daily commuting needs.

The base version’s 5x pedal assist still exceeds anything offered elsewhere on the market, though it falls short of the 10x multiplier of the Launch and Performance trims. While riders seeking maximum power may choose the upper-tier models, 5x assistance remains more than enough for steep climbs, long rides, and heavy cargo.


Battery Capacity and Range Options

The entry TM-B includes a smaller battery pack, offering up to 60 miles of range compared to the 100-mile rating of the premium models. Importantly, Also designed the bike with modularity in mind: riders can upgrade to the larger pack at any time. This allows buyers to enter the ecosystem at a lower cost and expand capability as needed.

Regardless of configuration, the TM-B’s electronics and thermal system are integrated with the frame, optimizing weight distribution while improving long-term durability.


Technology: What All TM-B Models Share

One of the most compelling aspects of the TM-B lineup is that all trims share the same core engineering. DreamRide, the company’s pedal-by-wire drivetrain, uses a generator for pedal input while a dedicated motor powers the rear wheel. This system produces 180 Nm of torque, with precise traction control and smooth modulation.

Connectivity is another standout: the TM-B includes a round touchscreen display, onboard GPS, cellular connectivity, and deep over-the-air software updates—a rarity in the e-bike world. Riders can remove the battery for portable charging and power accessories through USB-C.


Modular “Top Frames” Expand Use Cases

A unique highlight of the TM-B platform is its modular “top frame” ecosystem, which transforms the bike into entirely different configurations. With a single button release, riders can switch between the standard frame, a cargo setup, or a moped-style bench seat. Pricing is now confirmed at $500 for the cargo top, $450 for the bench seat, and $350 for the standard frame included with the bike.

This modularity positions the TM-B as not just an e-bike, but a multifunction mobility platform capable of replacing short-distance car trips, cargo runs, or leisure rides.
