GM, EVgo, and Pilot Company have installed around 850 DC fast chargers at over 200 Pilot and Flying J stations across nearly 40 states. The new sites feature 350kW EVgo stalls with amenities like Wi-Fi, dining, lighting, and pull-through bays for trailers. With support for Plug-and-Charge, the network aims to reach 2,000 stalls at up to 500 locations, with 1,000 expected by the end of 2025.

The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric will offer wireless home charging with 11 kW power and 90% efficiency, plus 400 kW fast charging and 373 miles of range.

Costco is testing fast EV chargers at its Florida store with startup Electric Era. Shoppers can recharge up to 80% in under an hour while they shop. With over 500 U.S. warehouses, this pilot could scale into thousands of new charging stalls nationwide, making EV ownership easier and more convenient for millions of drivers.

June 2025 saw a significant increase in CCS fast-charging infrastructure, with 229 new or refreshed stations and 800 chargepoints added across the US and Canada. Despite the industry's gradual shift toward NACS, CCS remains critical due to its widespread compatibility.
